The García Chronicles

Yesterday I took Maicah and Maggie to Six Flags at their request. They sort of ended up regretting it at the end. It was 103 degrees when we left in the late afternoon. Maicah tried to put on a brave face but they were both on the verge of crying on the way to the car.

This video is part of the Garcia Chronicles DVD Volume 3. I had to learn how to use Final Cut Express so it took me a while to finish it.

We spent the weekend in the Texas hill country and saw some shows at Sea World in San Antonio where we met up with Tio Danny and Aaron. Here's a pic of Caleb eating dirt after he got so rowdy that he scared his little sister off the hammock.

We spent one night at Ray Roberts Lake and we had a blast. The boys did some fishing and a lot of exploring.

An uncle of ours went to be with the Lord and I took to boys with me to Mexico to attend his funeral. They got to play with some of their cousins.

We built a raised garden bed to help usher in the spring. The boys are going to enjoy watching it grow.

The tulips were in bloom at the Dallas Arboretum today. Caleb had fun breaking the rules by climbing the frog fountain to take a sip of water.

So what does a kindergartner do when a girl in his class decides to only invite girls to her birthday party? He fights fire with fire, that's right, it's a boys night out on a half broken trampoline with popcorn and candy, and no girls allowed (except for the organizer's baby sister). Turn out was low due to Moms not believing their little boys about the event. Darn, those elitist girls!

The weather is cooling down and we're having lots of fun with the kiddos visiting local pumpkin patches and riding trains.







Uncle Brad came for a visit.

Here are the boys and Cameron having a Lord of the Flies moment, making some of most primal sounds ever to fall on human ears.

This weekend our church did it's annual home makeover for 4 families. We were blessed enough to spend the day with one of the families while all of our friends did the hard work on the homes. The end of the day was much more fun than six flags.

Maicah's driving made quite an impression on Caleb.
